• Growing Up Too Quickly

I was looking through my computer today and I found 2 things that caught my interest. First is this digital illustration I made about a year ago:

For those of you who follow me on Twitter and who liked my Facebook fanpage then you already know this, but... I decided to use the illustration and some nifty textures from 99mockingbirds to make a new outfit for my Ox. Flying Ox is quite the fashionista, don't ya think?
Anyway, the second thing I found in my endless array of files is the set of photos I took on my brother's kindergarten (did I spell that right?) graduation day. He's grown so big in so little time... *tear* He will forever still be nibbling on a pacifier in my mind, though. ;)
I advise you to listen to this song while viewing my photos... y'know, just to set the mood...

Ready for some cuteness overload now?

If you're wondering why I don't have a straight-on face shot of my brother, it's 'cuz my mom thinks he'll attract mega-pedophiles or something if I post his face -___- Right. Of course.
    CAN SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE ME A MEME OF THIS EPIC FACE????? :}

    Oh dang, I gotta go to sleep now... It's 2:47AM. I guess it's true that "artists" never sleep, eh. #nocturnalFTW #goodnight/goodmorning... #usinghashtags = #addicting... #kbye

    1. I love the layout! The illustration is very cool—I love the vibrant colors.

Oh my goodness, your little brother is ADORABLE! I’m the youngest of four, so I never had the opportunity to take in all that adorableness! Though, I’ve known a family friend since I was born and I’ve watched her grow and she’s about to go into high school and I’m like, “Whaaa! You’re still 8 in my head!”

Also, I love me some Taylor Swift.

    2. Hey,
Your digital illustration of the head is actually pretty cool :) Have you ever thought of writing tutorials? I think that they would be great!

I’ve never encountered before an Asian saying all Asian kids look the same! This is kind of ironic because some white people I know would be mad at me I were to say something like that.

People grow fast. Now that I’m 19, I can’t believe how fast my younger cuzins grew! It’s like I don’t know them any more.

    3. Can I just say that your brother is super duper cute?!?!?!

I just might be that pedophile your mother warned you about. Can I keep him?! I don’t have any younger siblings, but I do have a few young cousins around the age of your brother… They’re all girls though (queue shrieking, whining, and crying).

I like the new layout! Good job :)

    4. Wow, I love this layout! I seriously wish I had illustrator. I want to make cool things like this :3

    5. Wow, I’m really loving that illustration of yours! I’ve never tried using Illustrator before but even vectorizing images is too complicated for me so it may take time for me to learn.. I’m just amazed at people who can! :) Aww, and your brother’s so cute. I love how he has this little graduation gown (and garter cap!) of his own. ;) Kindergartens here have graduation rites too but I never had one as a kid because kindergarten in the school I attended was like first grade; they only had it so the elementary grades would still go from 1-6.

    7. Nice photos of your brother! I’m glad he graduated… some kids take forever to graduate from the kindergarten! My cousin was held back because he fooled around too much.

That is an amazing art photo. I love it!

    8. Gah! Children + graduation = tears. I swear... If it involve children, I will cry my eyes out. I can't make it through a school play or performance! haha

Seriously though, he is absolutely adorable. :D

    9. I love the illustration, especially the colors; it's very original! The new layout is also very beautiful and I'm inspired to go and make a new one myself xD

Kids grow up way too fast! My niece is 18 months old and already she's starting to talk and do things like a regular person. It kind of makes you feel old in a way, seeing someone younger go through everything you've gone through before xD
Beautiful pictures by the way! I think you really captured your brother in a sophisticated light.

    10. Sunny!! Hey! Haha. :) I loooooove this layout. It is so pretty. I remember when you made that vector, and I think it makes a remarkable piece for your layout!

Aw, kindergarten graduation. How sweet. :) I'm actually the youngest of my family (well, my brother and I are... twins), but graduations are always a big reminder of how fast time flies.

Guess what? My new photo blog is open! K-smiles.org
      We should affiliate, no? :D

    11. Awww too cute!! I can't believe he had a cap & gown for a kindergarten "graduation". That's so silly...but I suppose it is a transition into grade school. Congrats to your brother! They grow up so fast.

Love the illustrations, girl!! They look fantastic.

    12. I know what you mean about never sleeping. I don't fall asleep until 5am most days and then I sleep until 3p lol. Today I feel asleep at 4:30a and woke up at 10a. :/ Only 6 hours but as long as I feel rested! hahaha

Awh. Your brother looks so cute. :) congrats on his graduation. :D

The illustration is amazing. I wish I could illustrate lol. I suck though.

    13. I love that illustrator, I always fail when it comes to illustrator -_-
Your brother is adorable! I understand where your mom is coming from, parents will always be paranoid about their kids. It's part of their parental jobs.

    15. That's a really neat illustration! And your layout looks really cool as well!

Aww your little brother is the sweetest. My little sister started middle school last week. It's crazy! They grow up so fast, you don't even realize.
