• Fantasy World

Hello, my lovely blog readers! How are you all? You might be wondering where I've gone... and the answer is: I've been busy being a student. Junior year of high school... not fun -_-'' (SAT's, ACT's, School, Extracurricular Activities, and Volunteer Work has bombarded me!!!)
BUT the good news is that I'm back!!! :D I'm ALMOST done with all the things I need to do, and besides, I've missed being able to release all my stress through photography.

So, I guess my photo pieces represent my fantasy world, my escape from reality... hence the blog title.

Sometimes it's just so nice to be able to capture that perfect moment of a single branch of flowers prevailing through a storm that has swept up all of its peers...

And the rare flowers persistently blooming despite it being the dead of winter...

(It's always nice to see those same flowers there in the spring too, greeting me by my doorstep every time I come home from school.)

And those unique flora that always strive to be stronger, better, taller-- like me.

Occasionally, I like to create my own world too, through photo-manipulation and photo-editing. I know some think that edited photos aren't "true" art, but they do bring to the creator a powerful sensation because that perfect world he/she has created is only a computer screen away.

And lastly, just for fun-sies, here is a cartoonized self-portrait I made:

Thanks for reading!!! As you can see, I will be adding a lot more content, such as printable goodies, tutorials, and resources in the near future to make up for my absence. Do keep checking back! =)
Please comment below and let me know how you deal with stress or where you usually "escape" to! As always...

    1. Wow, you're amazing! I love all the photos you took! Did you edit them? And if so, with what? I greatly respect people who have an eye for beauty like you do. :) Great job.

And I know how you mean with school. I'm a junior as well, and it can be quite overwhelming. But we're almost done, and then we can relax for senior year!

      Have a lovely day!

Ahhh yes, fellow junior :P Yeah, thank goodness we're almost done. If senior year is this busy too, it'll be the death of me >_<

    2. Yeah, I remember the days of high school and how busy it was...now, I'm in college and busier than ever. Just take it easy during all the busy days and you'll be fine. Also beautiful photos! Glad you're back though.

    3. Hey Sunny,
beautiful photo of the cherry blossom tree. :) I think that photo manipulation is indeed art, if it is done so that the subject of the photo is enhanced or that it brings in more meaning to the picture. That's just me personally, I know some people think a string nailed to a wall is art, but whatever, to each their own. Art is beautiful & it's viewed differently with each person.

Hope to see more of you around here. :)

Yes, I agree with you. Hopefully, digital art will become more and more accepted.
Don't worry, you will definitely be seeing more of me :)

    4. Welcome back to the blogging world! It sounds like you had a lot of things on your plate! The 3rd year in high school is usually the hardest for some reason, but hopefully you got them under control.. And that you'll keep on blogging XD.

I really like the pictures you took of these flowers. They look as if they can be wallpapers for phones and computers!! I think it's cool when flowers can still grow/bloom during winter because it's different than what we're used to. Photo manipulation is really nice when it's done right. My favorite would be the tree because all of the effects around it.

      Hope to see you again!
