Just about a week ago, my brother lost his first tooth. I said to him, "put it under your pillow for the tooth fairy!!!" He just looked at me as if I were strange and sympathetically replied, "sister, the tooth fairy doesn't exist," as if I were the one getting my dreams crushed. Although it was a rather humorous conversation, thinking back, I can't help but feel sad that he is growing up so quickly. So here is a post dedicated to you (and all your stupid moments), David. ;)
This is when you believed that Lego people were real, but not tooth fairies. This is when you drank so many smoothies in one day that you became sick with the cold. LOL talk about a brain freeze. This is when you conquered the world... (which pretty much was just the playground)...
At age 7.
Andddd... here are some prime examples of your adorkableness, little David. Hope you enjoy laughing at yourself as much as I enjoy laughing at you ;) (Just kidding... sort of.)

"Your little hand's wrapped around my finger
And it's so quiet in the world tonight
Your little eyelids flutter cause you're dreaming
So I tuck you in, turn on your favorite night light
To you everything's funny, you got nothing to regret
I'd give all I have, honey
If you could stay like that
Oh darling, don't you ever grow up
Don't you ever grow up, just stay this little"
-"Never Grow Up" by Taylor Swift

I believed that the tooth fairy existed for quite a few years. Let's be honest, even when I did know I didn't tell my parents because I liked getting the money!
ReplyDeleteYour little brother is so cute! :D I love the little things my brother used to do but now he's just "too cool" for me.
ReplyDeleteI did make the images. I was looking at my old websites and they are so bad, but I want to make a little pixel website just for fun! They were so cute and now they are all gone!
Well so about my life...I'm graduating in a month and then I'm moving to Vegas for school! Adulthood is officially right around the corner. I'm scared but excited!!! How are you? You need to email and tell me everything that's happened!
Your brother is adorable! He's lucky to have such a loving sis!
ReplyDeleteBrothers grow up so fast, I remember when mine was 7 and was a scrawny, dorky kid. Now he's 20 and going to uni and getting jobs, girlfriends etc... feels like it all happened in a blink of an eye!
